Tank wagons.-The heads of wagon tanks are dished, provided with concentric and radial corrugations 8, 12, 13, Figs. 1 and 2, and secured by welding their peripheral flanges to the body. Longitudinal surge plates 16 are secured to angle plates 18, which are welded, at intervals, to the corrugations or the spaces therebetween. Specification 149,220 is referred to.
