Curtains, drawing and suspending.-A hollow tube having separate or readily detachable end pieces carries a pulley or pulleys round which pass actuating cords passing through runners which are ellipsoidal or spherical and rotatable. Clamps c with screws c<2>, d support the hollow tube b through a slot in which project the eyes m<3> of runners m, which may comprise a ball or balls n in a framework as in Fig. 6 or be barrel-shaped. The cord h may be knotted to the end runner and passes over a pulley g in a separate end piece f fitting within the tube. The tube b may be bent to fit bay windows. Specification 4536/85 is referred to.
