Abstract

The invention relates to technical field of saw cutting machine, which comprises case 1, base 2, working table 15, supporting rollers 19 mounted in case 1, drive belt 10 sustained by supporting rollers 19, both ends of drive belt 10 connected to lower rod 12 and upper rod 18 respectively, drive belt 10 brought by sliding rod 4 into reciprocating movement. Since drive belt 10 is made of flexible material, sliding rod 4, sliding sleeve 5 etc. are used for power transmission mechanism, therefor, the invention has advantages like high cutting efficiency, superior cutting quality, large effective operating dimensions of saw blade, bit cutting thickness, no idle periods, low noise, low cost and small volume etc.

Description

1 1 SAW CUTTIRG MACHINE 2326127 The invention relates to saw cutting
machines.
Saw cutting machines are in wide use throughout the world and the structure of such machines now tends to be largely similar: upper and lower rigid rods are mounted on a working table and cutting is performed by vertical reciprocal movement of a saw blade driven by the swinging rods. The drawbacks of this form of saw cutting machine include: limited swing amplitude; low cutting efficiency; small effective operating dimensions of saw blades, the operating dimensions generally occupying about only one third of saw blade length; limited saw blade cutting thickness; large noload power consumption; high levels of vibration noise; inferior cutting quality; and restrictions on modification of saw machine configuration.
The objects of embodiments of the present invention include providing a saw cutting machine, drive belts of which are made of flexible material, enabling said machine to provide high cutting efficiency, superior cutting quality, large effective operating dimensions of saw blade, large cutting thickness, no idle periods, and low noise.
A saw cutting machine according to the invention comprises: a case; a base; a working table; supporting rollers mounted in the case; a drive belt supported by the rollers, ends of the drive belt being connected to a lower rod and an upper rod respectively, the drive belt being driven in a reciprocating manner by a sliding rod.
Preferably, at least three supporting rollers are 2 provided. Most preferably, six supporting rollers are provided.
Preferably also, a sliding rod is installed in a sliding sleeve and a coil 6 is mounted on the sliding sleeve.
Preferably also, a supporting roller above the upper rod is mounted on adjusting frame for adjusting the tightness of the drive belt and an adjusting handle may be provided on the frame.
Preferably also, the drive is made of flexible material.
Preferably also, the lower rod is installed in a lower rod base, and the upper rod is mounted in an upper rod base.
The invention allows the saw blade to move vertically, therefore said machine provides advantages such as high cutting efficiency, superior cutting quality, large effective operating dimensions of the saw blade, large cutting thickness, no idle periods and low noise, and enables saw cutting machines to be made in various shapes and forms.
Components of the preferred machine, such as the sliding rod, sliding sleeve and coil may be incorporated in a power transmission mechanism, the preferred form of the invention has advantages such as low cost, small volume and low operating noise.

Referring to Fig. 1, in a preferred embodiment of the invention, the case 1 and working table 15 are mounted on the base 2; supporting rollers 19 are mounted in the case 1; the the structural schematic diagram of a saw in accordance with a preferred embodiment of 3 drive belt 10 is supported by six support rollers 19, ends of the drive belt 10 are connected with an upper rod 18 and a lower rod 12. The drive belt 10 is brought into reciprocating movement by the sliding rod 4, which is installed in sliding sleeve 5. Coil 6 is mounted on sliding sleeve 5; electric wire 7 is extended outwards from coil 6, and is connected with control circuit 8. In order to bring sliding rod 4 into reciprocating movement in sliding sleeve by means of coil 6, the control circuit 8 is an oscillating circuit. Holder 3 is mounted on sliding rod 4, and the drive belt 10 is fastened to holder 3. The supporting roller 19 above the upper rod 18 is installed on the adjusting frame 21, and adjusting handle 23 is mounted on the upper end of the adjusting frame 21. When the degree of is tightness of saw blade 16 needs to be regulated, the handle 23 is adjusted moving the adjusting frame 21, which moves the supporting roller 19 and adjusts the saw blade tightness.
Drive belt 10 is flexible, for example, it may be made of, but not limited to, polyurethane or steel wire. The lower rod 12 is fitted in the lower rod base 11, and the upper rod 18 is installed in the upper rod base 17. The ends of saw blade 16 are connected with the upper rod 18 and lower rod 12 respectively. Saw blade 16 performs vertical movements, and the sawteeth do not incline at an angle.
When said machine is in operation, a power source drives the control circuit, and further drives sliding rod 4 into reciprocating movement. Since the drive belt 10 is connected to holder 3, consequently said drive belt 10 4 performs a reciprocating movement, and further moves the saw i blade 16 vertically for cutting. In Fig. 1, 13 is a pointer, 14 is a scale plate, 20 is a washer and 21 is a rating nut.

Claims (7)

CLAIMS:
1. A saw cutting machine comprising a case, a base, and a working table, wherein supporting rollers are mounted in the case, a drive belt is sustained by said supporting rollers, the ends of said drive belt connect with a lower rod and an upper rod respectively, and said drive belt is driven by a sliding rod.
2. A saw cutting machine in accordance with claim 1, wherein said sliding rod is mounted in a sliding sleeve, and a coil is installed on said sliding sleeve.
3. A saw cutting machine in accordance with claim 1, wherein at least 3 supporting rollers are installed.
4. A saw cutting machine in accordance with claim 1, wherein six supporting rollers are installed.
5. A saw cutting machine in accordance with claim 1, wherein said supporting rollers are mounted on an adjusting frame, and an adjusting handle is installed on top of said adjusting frame.
6. A saw cutting machine in accordance with claim 1, 20 wherein said drive belt is made of flexible material.
7. A saw cutting machine in accordance with claim 1, wherein said lower rod is mounted in a lower rod base, and said upper rod is mounted in an upper rod base.
