Abstract
231,775. Breslauer, A. Nov. 10, 1924. Hair switches.-A combined bandeau and hair switch comprises a strip 5, Fig. 1, of material such as velvet or silk adapted to be worn across the forehead, and two hair switches 11 secured to the strip. The ends of the strip 5 are provided with strips of tape or elastic which can be fastened at the back of the head by means of a hook 9 and an eye 10. In use, the strips 7 are concealed under the wearer's hair, and the hair of the switches 11 is drawn up and dressed with the natural hair, as shown in Fig. 3. The bandeau may have attached thereto an ornamental strip composed of flowers or leaves, or the bandeau 16, Fig. 5, may be made of shell or bone, curved to fit the head and having attached to the ends the hair switches 11 and fastening strips 19.
