Abstract

A bodysuit comprises a garment which, in use, covers the torso of as wearer, said garment having integral shoulder-support means and a detachable gusset or crotch-piece, wherein part of each shoulder-support means is removable and the crotch-facing side of the gusset is provided with a pocket. The gusset and/or the removable parts of the shoulder-support means may be attached to the garment by snap fasteners or a hook-and-loop arrangement. The pocket may contain an absorbent pad thereby making the bodysuit suitable for use by an incontinent person or by a female during menstruation.

Description

THE DESCRIPTION THE UNIQUE BODYSUIT This invention relates to a unique clothing accessory, of such a type that its use becomes an essential facility and com m odity of convenience for different tupes of clothing, rather than just the bodysuit.
Such an accessory as the unique bodysuit is exactly what it states, in terms of being 'unique', and having no 'predessor in the clothing market. Subsequent to my research, no similar invention of this nature has been found. No item like this is already sold on the market, as it were. It does not replace or modify any already existing article.
An objective derived from the project/invention was to neutralise the need to buy a new bodysuit if ones' old one no longer fits. Thus attracting money saving benefits, and less usage of the earths materials. Further, if a pregnant individual buying a bodysuit had use of the unique bodysuit, then they could buy their usual or normal size of clothing, and wear it with the unique bodysuit detatchable gusset. In fact, there could be no need to buy one at all! They could just but the detatchable gusset, and their garment is free of size restriction.
Other examples of use of the unique bodysuit and it's detatchable compenets are: GROWING FEMALE CHILDREN DISABLED MEN AND WOMEN HANDICAPPED MEN AND WOMEN INCONTINENT ~ (ABSORBENT TOWELLING MODEL) HOSPITALS - (FOLLOWING CHILDBIRTH) WOMENS FASHIONS The unique bodysuit could be designed and manufactured in a variety of initial fabrics and colours.
A unique bodysuit consists of a detatchable gusset and velcro shoulder grip.
Their two functionary uses are;- Detatchable gusset for the crutch area of the garment, and a shoulder grip for the shoulder area of the garment.
The detatchable gusset includes 'loop together buttons, 3 at each lenght of the material. For the shoulder trip, velcro replaces the buttoins. This can be seen in the drawings. When either or both are attatched, its essential function is performed - which is altering the 'size' of the garment, as worn and appropriate to the individuaL

Claims (3)

  1. THE CLAIMS THE UNIQUE BODYSUIT 1.The Unique Bodysuit consists of a 'detatchable gusset' which enables bodysuits which are too small in size to become a 'larger', more appropriate and comforting fit. Also a velcro shoulder grip, which performs a sitar function.
  2. 2.Adetatchable gusset as claimed in claim one, where the attatchments include 'clip together buttons', enabling the gusset to be quickly and easily attatched to any crutch area of and given bodysuit.
  3. 3. A velcro shoulder grip as claimed in claim one, enabling itself to be easily attched to any shoulder area of any bodysuit.
