Abstract

A ultrasound transducer wall bracket, has a support body 1 with a shelf attached or fixed to it 2. For normal use the bracket comprises of two shelves, that is the top shelf 2 and the bottom shelf 3, these shelves can either be fixed or detachable to the and each shelf may have apertures which inserts can be placed. Each insert 6 can be varied in size shape and form to accommodate any size make shape and design of ultrasound transducer 7. Each shelf 2,3,4,5 can be varied in size shape or form to accommodate any size shape or form of insert 6 to support any size make or shape of ultrasound transducer 7.

Description

ULTRASOUND TRANSDUCER WALL BRACKET This invention relates to a ultrasound transducer wall bracket.
Ultrasound transducers are electronic devices used in conjunction with ultrasound imaging machines to obtain ultrasound images of for example: Inside the human body, inside the body of mammals,or even under the surface of metal casing and objects(stress testing)etc....
According to the present invention there is provided a bracket system comprising of a shelf or shelves for supporting all ends of the ultrasound transducer (usually two) when in storage.
The bracket system being adapted to enable all types, makes and forms of ultrasound transducer (whether a single transducer or many transducers) to be placed and supported with ease and to be attached in such a way to be safe from damage or droppage.
This ultrasound transducer wall bracket has a multi-support function, supporting all types, makes and sizes of ultrasound transducer at the same time.
It comes in a basic form ie.without inserts or with alternative types of inserts.
It can also be possible for alternative types of top and bottom shelf units to be fixed or detachable to the main body.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: - Figure 1 shows in perspective, the insert type ultrasound transducer wall bracket.
Figure 2 shows in perspective, the basic type ultrasound transducer wall bracket.
Figure 3 shows the side view of the basic type ultrasound transducer wall bracket.
(with a ultrasound transducer in situation) Figure 4 shows the side view of the insert type ultrasound transducer wall bracket.
(with a ultrasound transducer in situation) Figure 5 shows example of the basic type top shelf unit.
Figure 6 shows example of the insert type top shelf unit.
Figure 7 shows example of the basic type bottom shelf unit.
Figure 8 shows example of the insert type bottom shelf unit.
figure 9 shows example of a ultrasound transducer in situation in a basic type ultrasound transducer wall unit.
Referring to the drawing the ultrasound transducer wall bracket comprises of a support body 1,a top shelf unit 2 and a bottom shelf unit 3.
Each shelf unit can be either fixed or detachable also supplied with or without inserts 6 which are also detachable.
Each shelf unit and insert can come in a different form, size and shape to accommodate the different variety of ultrasound transducers 7.
The ultrasound transducer 7 is usually supported on the shelves with the ultrasound transducer head 8 on the top shelf 2 and the ultrasound transducer socket 9 on the bottom shelf 3.
The ultrasound transducer cable 10 is left hanging neatly between the two shelves 2 and 3 but is situated in the cable slots 11 provided on both shelves 2 and 3.
When using the shelf inserts 6 the ultrasound transducer 7 fits into the shelf inserts 6 for a secure fit.
When using the non insert shelf (basic form) 4 the ultrasound transducer 7 fits into the shelf itself 2 and 3 for a secure fit.
To mount the ultrasound transducer shelf unit onto the wall it must be secured by the support body 1 using suitable fixings not shown on diagram.
