Description
llACK(;R()UND OF THE INVENTION
The invention herein consists of a kind of physical contour contact massage device, specifically referring to a kind of massage device that has massage wheels that are capahle of making contact with the irregular surfaces of the human body through in a direct manner. Furthermore, the massage wheels contain a magnetic material and the main unit enclosing the vibrating device has a handle which provides for advanced application efficacy.
Massage is a traditional Chinese health treatment method that is effective in practice and mainly consists of a range of manual methods that enhance overall physical circulation and offers rcjuvenating effects. Chinese massage is not only capable of treating a wide range of diagnosed internal and external osteopathic afflictions, the traditional treatment also strengthens the hody, increases resistance to disease and restores overall hcalth.
Since the traditional manual massage requires a considerable expenditure of time, human effort and technique, the treatment is not time-effective and, therefore, people in modern society find it impossible to undergo a daily application of this traditional
Chinese cultural curative. As a result, there is now a market for various automatic and hand-held massage machines (or instruments), with automatic massage machines usually consisting of an electric powered vibrator massage device for massaging the human body, wherein the individual utilizing such an appliance must place the device at a fixed position and is not required to make any other movements during the operation of the massage device. Therefore, although automatic massage machines have the advantage of effectiveness, they are directly precluded from offering the user movement opportunities, which explains why existent hand-held massage machines are still in demand, namely because automatic massage machines cannot replace them. However, it is commonly known that hand-held massage machines generally have massage wheels of fixed shape that roll along body surfaces to apply massage. Furthermore, the aforesaid massage wheels are mounted in a permanent position under the handle or other location of the main unit such that when rolled along the surface of the human body, it is impossible for the massage wheels to all make direct contact with the irregular contours of the skin and muscles and, therefore. are incapable of providing a complete massage to any degree of effective prcdiclability. Furthermore, the majority of massage instruments have massage wheels that are constructed of a single type of material, which only enables superficial muscle massage that cannot penetrate the internal nervous system of the body. In view of this. the inventor of the invention herein has remedied these shortcomings through intensive research and testing to finally develop the invention herein for the sake of consumers.
Therefore, the major objective of the invention herein is to provide a kind of massage device that conforms to and makes contact with the contours of the human body through a main unit handle hinged to a number of horizontally oriented pivot shafts capable of rotation, wherein there are vertically oriented pivot shafts on each of the two ends of the horizontally oriented pivot shafts, with massage wheels attached to each of the two ends of the vertically oriented pivot shafts, thereby enabling'the massage wheels to function multi-directionally, wherein the contact made by each massage wheel is maintained on irregular surfaces to achieve maximum massage effectiveness.
The secondary objective of the invention herein is to provide a kind of physical contour contact massage device equipped with massage wheels containing a magnetic material that enables the penetration of magnetism into the human body during the massage lo achieve effective magnetic treatment.
Yct another objective of the invention herein is to provide a kind of physical contour contact massage device that has a vibrator device enclosed in the main unit handle to effectively increase the penetration depth during message into the nervous system of the human body.
The remaining objectives and functions of the invention herein are shown in the attached drawings below to further illustrate and enable the examination committee to acquire a more detailed understanding of the invention herein, while the detailed description to follow below shall elucidate the preferred embodiment of the invention herein, wherein it shall he further qualified that the examples in the drawings shall not be construed as any limitation whatsoever as to the form of the invention herein, such that any other invention resembling and adapting any embellishments and modifications whatsoevcr hased on the essential structure of the invention herein shall be considered as lawfully covered within the scope and claims of the invention herein.
BRIEF 1)ESCRIKflON OF THE DRAWINGS
Figure 1 is an isometric drawing of the invention herein showing the entire external appearance.
Figure 2 is an orthographic drawing of the horizontally oriented pivot shafts of the invention herein.
Figure 3 is an orthographic drawing of the vertically oriented pivot shaft of the invention herein, showing a partial cross-sectional aspect of the massage wheel.
1)ETAILE!) I)ESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
As indicated in FIG. 1, the overall form of the invention herein includes an inverted-U shaped main unit handle (1) and the internal structure of the main unit handle (1) includes a vibrator device (13), a hatteries (11) and electric power switch (12), of which the hatteries (11) supply electric current too the vibrator device (13) and the electric power switch (12) controls the operation of the vibrator device (13) between the power-on and power-off state; the main unit handle (1) is conjoined by shafts to a directional structure which is situated at each of the two lower ends of the inverted-U shaped main-unit handle (1) and in the form of the main unit pivot shafts (10) (as indicated in FIG. 2) and at each of the left and right ends of the main unit pivot shafts (1 ()) is a vertically oriented main rocker rod (2) and, after the vertically oriented main rocker rod (2) is assembled to the main unit pivot shafts (10), a retainer cap (21) is installed on each end of the main unit pivot shafts (10) to prevent accidental removal of the vertically oriented main rocker rods (2); the relatively small outer diameter ends of the vertically oriented main rocker rods (2) are each inserted into active shaft mounts (4) and the active shaft mounts (4) hold the massage pivot shafts (4()) (as indicated in FIG.
3 the ends of the massage pivot shafts (40) are inserted into massage wheels (3) that are secured in position hy riveted end caps (41) to prevent inadvertent removal; the outer circumference of the massage wheels (3) are surfaced with two parallel rows of hemispherical massaging protrusions, projecting in alternate series, and magnetic material () (for example, a permanent magnet) is contained inside the massage wheels (5).
13asked on the foregoing description of the structural component configuration and the drawing of the preferred embodiments of the invention herein, it can be observed that when tile invention herein is operated to massage the irregular contours of the human hody the direclional structure hinged onto the underside of the inverted-U shaped main unit handle (1) functions such that whenever vertically oriented irregular contours are encountered, then the two front and rear vertically oriented main rocker arms (2) adjust to a suitahle angular degree to enable the massage wheels (3) to make direct surface contact (as indicated in FIG. 2); whenever horizontally oriented irregular contours are encountered then the two left and right active shaft mounts (4) also adjust to a suitable angular degree to enable the massage wheels (3) to make direct surface contact (as indicated in FIG. 3), thereby enabling the aforementioned massaging projections along the surfaces of the massage wheels (3) to maintain effective direct surface contact and massage pressure on all the irregular contours of the human body; furthermore, the vibrator device (13) of the invention herein can be operated during the application of a massage. with the vibrator device (13) provides a sxtide range of varying intensities to eftectively enhance massage penetration deep into the nervous and circulatory systems; furthermore. since the massage wheels (3) contain magnetic material (5), the revolving massage wheels (3) produce a magnetic field during massage operation equivalent to approximalely 1 ,4o() to 2,4to) gauss, a flux magnitude sufficient to stimulate muscle and bone tissuc and thus attain the objective of improving hlood circulation.
In summation of the foregoing detailed description, the structural innovations of the invention herein have not been previously witnessed and, furthermore, possess a full measure of practical value; therefore, the invention herein thoroughly complies with the lawful requirements of a new patent invention and the invention herein is hereby duly submitted in application for the awarding of any and all patent rights so deserved.
