Description

FILING BOOK FOR BUSINESS CARDS This invention relates to a filing book for business cards.
After a day at an trade exhibition, visitors often find themselves with a pocketful of business cards which are effectively meaningless.
Weeks later they are left wondering "where did I meet so and so?", and "who was that guy?"" etc. It is a similar scenario for people taking part in sales drives, where a large number of business cards are exchanged.
This confusion can be avoided thanks to the present invention which provides the means of collating information relating to one's business contacts quickly and simply.
The invention proposes a book of which each page carries at least one self-adhesive strip together with additional space for notes concerning a business card which can be stuck to said strip. The strip is covered with a release paper. The book may be loose leaf, or wire-bound.
The book may have more than one strip to each page, e.g.
four, but in its preferred form the book is pocket-or handbag-sized thus limiting the number is such a case.
A sample page from a book is shown in the drawing.
Pages may be pre-punched with holes suitable for existing loose leaf books of the business organiser type.
The book may have, for example 30 stick-on-strip holders for contacts' business cards - plus space for notes and observations.
Exhibitions, conference, seminar and sales activities will benefit from this invention. It is envisaged as an information tool for individual companies and exhibition/conference organisers.
Purchasers are offered the book with their own customised covers, carrying the company logo and livery on the front cover.

Claims (6)

1. A book of which each page carries at least one adhesive area to which in use a business card can be stuck, together with an associated area in which notes can be written concerning a card stuck there.
2. A book as claimed in claim 1 in which the adhesive area is self-adhesive and covered with a release paper.
3. A book as claimed in claim 1 or 2 which is loose-leaf.
4. A book as claimed in claim 1 or 2 which is wire-spiral bound.
5. A book as claimed in any preceding claim which has four adhesive areas on each page.
6. A book substantially as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
