Abstract
The holographic protection system comprises a computer for processing film and video images so that they can be holographically projected into free space by a pair of projectors. A user can interact with the projected image in a virtual reality environment.
Description
Technical Field
This invention relates to a transformer Box the size of a desk top calculator that transforms visual information from film and video to computer to computer and/or back (again) plus 2 small mini projector sensors which project holographic pictures into a given space
Background
All kinds of inventions are known in proffessional film video but for private use nothing exists.
Essential Technical Features
According to the present invention there is provided a small rectangular Box size of a desk calculator which is compatible with all existing computer technology . Referring to the drawing , the box comprises of a rectangular superstructure 1
Button - 1 - 2 - for use of film video - translated into computed talk . Button 2 3 for computer to film/video - Line in 4 - input Line out 5 - output
Plus 2 small sensor projectors 6 with lead plug connections 7 sensor projector Beams 8
To use can be following
Film from video is broadcast to box 12 R through to computer where relevant computer programme is written using film like images as basic Building blocks .Once computer programme is completed , and information regarding room is gathered by a standard video recorder through Box to computer then leads are reversed , and computer pushes information through box which is then pushed out to sensor projectors thus taking film image into holographic image for personal Home use
All is needed now is a long distance microphone that can pick up sounds in the room and when the image apears you can talk to it and it can hear and respond through external speaker attached to the computer
Sound effects creating illusion of moving near and far can correspond to movement of image
Quad speaker system will of course enhance greatly
If user wishes to use Box 12B by itself then with imagination there are many uses incorporating computer graphics , virtual reality etc.
Claims (1)
- Box 12R comprising of a transformer capable of translating film/video signals into computer talk, and also by reversing so that computer can speak through it from computer talk (back) into film/video signals. This can be led to 2 small sensor/projectors meanwhile either before of during a video camera and/or video is connected direct to computer which can feed information visually about the room. The computer generates through 2 sensors a pinpoint location in the room where holographic image is made . The use can interact in social intercourse with the image and can be used for fun therapeutic or other . The number of applications are vast. This means according to the computer programme an image taken from film/video choice either commercial (possible special Bar code to avoid mis-use) or from Home videos , a holographic image can be produce who the user can interact with in his/her own living room.Uses could include home Security, psycho historical profiling, psychological - investigation - in conjunction with psychologist, ie - image of yourself now in the past, in the future, sex therapy , possible use of Body Sensors - life reheasal - interviews - sales etc - skill acquisition and many more Alternatively - Box can be connected to virtual reality where the possibilities for now realms of synthesized experience can be breathtaking - ie all kinds of programmes connected to film/video such as space travel etc.Living on board a spaceship various storylines
