Motors and gear. boxes, mounting or supporting. - The engine or power unit is supported by a siding spherical support at the re.ar and by trunnions at each side, the trunnions tteing completely insulated from metallic contact with the side frame members. Each trunnion E is carried by a thick sleeve of rubber F<2> within a bearing F secured to the side frame G. The rear support consists of a hollow trunnion H through which extends the transmission shaft, this trunnion being slidably mounted in a spherical support J carried in a co-operating seating attached to a cross member K of the frame. The trunnions may be located substantially at the centre of gravity of the unit.
