A freezing bag (10) has an inlet port (11) connected to an inlet tube (12) having a breakable seal (13) and to which is connected a cryoprotectant storage bag (15) which is surrounded by an impervious cover (16), and an outlet port (17) having a breakable seal (18). <IMAGE>
