Abstract

A hair collection tray or bib has a durable washable protective covering and is for use in hair dressing. The tray or bib is releasably secured to the body. An adjustable drawstring attachment and zip fastener are used to secure the tray or bib on the upper body. In use, the bib collects cut hair to prevent the same from invading the client's clothing or body. <IMAGE>

Description

THE HAIR COLLECTOR TRAY OR BIB This invention relates to a washable hair collection and protective tray or bib.
On visits to the hairdresser or salon, according to present conditions, there is provided a protective robe and-on occasion-also a towel, means for reasonably sheilding the client's clothing and body from falling hair.
It is a well known fact that, despite the use of robe and towel, the clients clothing and body is unavoidably invaded by unwanted hair.
In this invention there is provided a washable hair collection tray or bib which protects the front, side and rear of the body from falling hair, the device being manufactured to slide on and off the upper body by means of a washable ZIPPER.
A flexible washable drawstring collar around the neck forms a seal which prevents cut hair from invading the clients clothing and body.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 illustrates the rear view of the washable hair collection tray or bib and its means of attachment to the body.
Figure 2 shows the rear view of the washable hair collection tray or bib in position on the body.
Figure 3 shows a close-up view of the zipper and drawstring attachment.
Figure 4 shows in perspective the washable hair collection tray or bib from the front.
Figure 5 shows the washable hair collection tray or bib from the side in position on the body.
Referring to the drawing the hair collection tray comprises a durable washable protective covering (Figures 1-12). The protective covering is attached to the body by the use of a zipper and a drawstring or similar means (NOT SHOWN) at the rear of the head and neck (Figures 2-10).
In order to remove the hair collection tray from the body you undo the drawstring attachment, loosen it and undo the zipper as shown (Figures 3-11). The hair collection tray can then be removed from the body. (Figures 4-13) shows the hair collection tray in position on the body from the front. In (Figures 5-14) we see the hair collection tray in position from the side.
The hair collection tray or bib can be made in different sizes, for example small, medium and large.

Claims (6)

  1. A A hair collection tray or bib comprising a durable washable protection covering; the protective covering is attached to the body by the use of a zipper and drawstring or similar means (NOT SHOWN) at the rear of the head and neck.
  2. 2. A hair collection tray or bib as Claim 1 wherein the collection tray is attached to the body by a zipper and drawstring arrangement or similar means.
  3. 3. A hair collection tray or bib as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2, wherein the hair collection tray is of a particular design and shape as shown in Figures 1-5 of the accompanying drawings.
  4. 4. A hair collection tray or bib as Claim 2 or Claim 3, wherein the drawstring method of attachment to body gives flexibility for different sizes of necks.
  5. 5. A hair collection tray or bib in any preceding claim wherein the collection trays front will be used for advertising purposes.
  6. 6. A hair collection tray or bib substantially as discribed herein with reference to Figures 1-5 of the accompanying drawings.
    Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows 1 A hair collection tray comprising a durable washable protection covering; the protective covering is attached to the body by the use of a zipper and drawstring or similar means (not shown) at the rear of the head and neck.
    2 A hair collection tray as claimed in Claim 1 wherein the collection tray is attached to the body by a zipper and drawstring arrangement or similar means.
    3 A hair collection tray as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 wherein the hair collection tray is of a particular design and shape as shown in Figures 1 - 5 of the accompanying drawings.
    4 A hair collection tray as claimed in Claim 2 or Claim 3 wherein the drawstring method of attachment to the body gives flexibility for different sizes of necks.
    5 A hair collection tray in any preceding Claim wherein the collection tray's front will be used for advertising purposes.
    6 A hair collection tray substantially as described herein with reference to Figures 1 - 5 of the accompanying drawings.
