Abstract

A container for holding fluids such as paint or small items, has special compartments for parking brushes or tools. The handle 7 of the container is hollow and has a spout 5 which contains a shaped opening 17 for the parking of brushes or tools. Other compartments 3 for the parking of brushes or tools are situated on the sides and top of the container part, and include retaining bars 9 on the inside. Scrapers 11 are also provided for the removal of excess fluid from brushes, a dibbing surface (ribs, 13) is included for even distribution of the fluid throughout the brush. The dibbing surface also protects the hand holding the container from coming into contact with its contents. <IMAGE>

Description

PAINT POT( KETTLE ) This invention relates to a paint kettle.
Paint kettles are well known as being a round shaped container with a fairly heavy gage wire handle.
Paint kettles do not have places to park brushes and offer no protection to the hand holding the kettle from coming into contact with the contents.
A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 Sheet 1 / 2 shows a plan of the paint pot ( kettle ) Figure 2 Sheet 1 / 2 shows a side elivation of the paint pot ( kettle ) Figure 3 Sheet 2 / 2 shows a front elivation of the paint pot ( kettle ) Figure 4 Sheet 2 / 2 shows a cut throu section of the paint pot ( kettle ) as shown at A--A in plan Fig 1 Sheet 1 / 2 PAINT POT( KETTLE ) Referring to the drawings the paint pot ( kettle ) comprises a body the lower part of which is a container 19 with parking places for brushes or tools 3 the parking places 3 have retaing bars 9 on the inside.
The body also comprises a hollow handel 7 with a spout 5 and extra parking space for brushes or tools 17.
There is also a sheild for the hand 15 holding the handel 7 with scrapers 11 and dibbing ribs 13 on the inside.
Side sheilds are also provided 21 for protection against splashing whilst using the dibbing ribs 13 or the scrapers 11.

Claims (1)

  1. PAINT POT( KETTLE ) A paint pot ( kettle ) having a body in the shape of a container with compartments on the inside fitted with retaining bars, also having a hollow handel with a spout at one end and internaly shaped at the spout end.
    Also includid is a shield covering the handel, on the other side of which are scrapers and dibbing ribs.
    Also to the side of the handel shield faceing in towards the compartments are side shields.
