Description

IMPROVED STRUCTURE FOR GAS RANGE FIELD OF THE INVENTION The Present invention relates to an improved structure for gas range.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an improved structure for gas range, in particular, is an improved structure sor gas range, which can largely decrease the load of dripping plate so as to prevent the range surface from defor:nation and is easy-to-clean as well as good in heat-dispersion.
According to the structure of conventional gas range, it is provided with a dripping plate cn the top and a burner grate installing on the circumferential rim of said dripping plate, in which, a burner core, is installed in the center portion. Both said burner core and said dripping plate are under the platform of the gas range, but said burner grate is only one above the platform. Said grate is placed on the platform mostly through the support of the grate protruder on its circumferential rim. Meanwhile, said grate must endure the weight from the cooking facilities and things, i.e. the platform must receive a downward compression stress at the same time, while cooking or operating.Besides, the glass or enamel platform for gas range is very easy to crack and deform which is going to make the installation of said grate unsteadily and to make the cooking facilities turnover and endanger to the user due to the extremely high surrounding temperature in the period of cooking. Oils and water both adhesive on the exterior of the cooking facility and overflowing from said facility are mostly dripped into the gas ranges through the space between said plate and said core resulted in increasing the dirt in the gas range. It is very inconvenient to disassemble said gas range one by one while cleaning.Furthermore, the range devices are almostly installed in the gas range so as to be not able to supply sufficient air for complete combustion and to disperse heat from high temperature produced sn the inner portion of gas range during the combustion period when the cooking facilities are placed the range device. It becomes more apparent that the design of gas range is ceded to be further improved in order to promote the safety and practicability in the usage of the gas range.
In order to improve the above-mentioned defects for the conventional gas range, the inventor invents this present invention through accumulating a lot of experiences in the field of the gas range design and manufacture and through making the continuous experiments in the gas range.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A major object of the present invention is to provide an improved structure for gas range, which can largely decrease the load of the gas range platform.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an improved structure for gas range, which is very easy to be disassembled and cleaned.
One more object of the Present invention is to provide an improved structure for gas range, which can increase the possibility of complete combustion for fuel gas and is good at the heat-dispersed effect.
From the illustration of the present invention, said improved structure for the gas range is consisted of a supporting rack, which the bottom of said rack is connected to the bottom of the gas range, can be equipped with a burner tube used as the inlet of fuel gas and the top portion is formed in the way of having a smaller outside diameter; a burner core, which the bottom is encased on the top of said rack, the top is covered with a ring-shaped outer core and a hat-shaped inner core and both the outer core and the inner core are connected by several flow channels formed in between them ; a dripping plate, which is encased on the top of said rack and the bottom is formed with several protrusions along the axial direction; and a burner grate, which is covered on the circumferential rim of said dripping plate.
In case of assembling, the bottom of said plate is slightly higher the platform of gas range so as to allow air flow into the center portion through the flow channels to acquire enough air for the fuel gas for complete combustion, especially to transfer the load on the burner grate to said rack for avoiding the range platform from deformation or cracking.
Techniques, equipment, accessories and its effects for the above and other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become more apparent from the following description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings in which preferred embodiments of present invention are shown by way of illustrative example.
But, special terms of equipment-and accessories are only for explanation, not for limiting its meanings.

Fig. 3 is a perspective drawing cf the present invention to illustrate the construction of the dripping plate during operation.
Fig. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the present invention to illustrate another example in assembling during operation.
Fig. 5 is a perspective drawing of the present invention to illustrate the alterative design for the dripping plate in Fig. 3.
DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT Refer to each relative drawing, the improved structure for gas range according to the present invention is consisted of a supporting rack 10, a burner core 11 encased on said rack 10, a dripping plate 12 installed on said rack 10 and a burner grate 13 installed on the circumferential rim of said plate 12 The top portion of said core 11 is suitable to secure two sets of core.
Said rack 10 having L-shaped cylinder is firmly installed with a base tray 16 at the bottom portion by threading to the base plate 15 of the gas range 17 with a screw 17. As shown in Fig. 1 and 2, side protrusion 18 cf said rack 10 is able to encase a burner tube 19 for the flow of fuel gas. The vertical portion 20 of said rack 10 is formed in a smaller diameter at top side so as to support said core 11.
Said core 11 having a conical shape is provided with a circular groove 21 at the circumferential rim nearby the top portion and is firmly equipped with a circular plate 22 having a smaller diameter. As shown in Fig. 2, both top ends of inner and outer side walls of said ring-shaped groove 21 are respectively in stepwise structure, which is suitable to encase an outer core 23.
Said core 23 is in ring shape for matching with the shape of said groove 21 and is in U-inverted shape at its cross section. Both side walls are respectively penetrated to provide several outer flame holes 24A, 24B which is radially positioned. Each said hole 24A, 24B is respectively connected to the inner and the outer top rims of said ccre 23.
Said core 11 is supplied with a pilot flame hole 25 by penetrating at the circumferential rim in order to ignite fuel gas and is equipped with a cylinder 26 at the center.
Said cylinder 26 is formed with a upper hollow chamber 28 and a lower hollow chamber 29 by securing firmly with a barrier plate 27 at the inner portion, in which, said plate 27 is to be equipped with several gas holes 30 to permit the upflow of fuel gas from said rack 10. Said cylinder 26 is encased on the top end of said rack 10 and its top can be covered with an inner core 31 properly. Said core 31 having a hat shape is formed a ring-shaped declined surface 32 at its top rim and is penetrated to provide several inner flame holes 33 which is radially positioned. Each said hole 33 is connected to said chamber 28. Several connecting arms 34, which are hollow, are firmly secured in between said cylinder 26 and said groove 21, and then forms a flow channel 35 to connect in between said groove and said chamber 29 at the inner portion. While fuel gas in said rack 10 flows into said chamber 28, a part of fuel gas spray out from said hole 33 through said plate 27 directly and another part of fuel gas flows into said groove 21 and spray cu from said holes 24A, 24B through each said channel 35.
Said dripping plate 12 having a ring shape has a smaller inside diameter suitable for encasing on the top end of said rack, as shown in Fig. 3. Its circumferential rim is outwardly and horizontally extended and is slightly beaded downwardly at the end. The bottom is formed several protrusions 36 along the direction of axis so as to make the air flow easy and to provide a good heat-dispersing effect, in which, at least one protrusion 36 must be installed with a circular hole 37 corresponding to said hole 25 at top portion. The center portion of said plate 12 can also be secured to the bottom of said cylinder 26 firmly by the suitable way.
As shown in Fig. 1, said grate' 13 is covered on the circumferential rim of said plate 12 and is firmly equipped with several grate protrusions 38 at top in order to support the cooking facilities. In case of assembling, said plate 12 and said core 11 are encased on the top end of said rack 10, in which, the bottom portion of said plate 12 is slightly higher than the platform of gas range 17, and then mounts said grate 13 on the circumferential rim of said plate 12.
In the period of operation, the weight of cooking facilities placed said grate 13 can also be supported by said rack 10 to improve the defect that the load of conventional burner grate is supported by the platform of gas range and to prevent glass or enamel made platform from deformation and cracking due to long-period compression or heating.
Furthermore, air can be flown into the center portion of said core 11 through each said protrusion 36 at the bottom of said plate 12 so as to provide enough air for complete combustion and heat-dispersing effect and to decrease temperature in gas range because both said core 11 and said plate 12 are all slightly higher than the platform of gas range.
Oils and water on the cooking facilities can only drip into said plate 12, not into the gas range 17, due to said plate 12 being firmly secured to the bottom of said core 11.
Both said core 11 and said plate 12 can be disassembled at the same time for cleaning so as to make the cleaning operation very easy.
As shown in Fig. 4 and 5, it is another example during operation for the present invention, in which, said dripping plate 39 has a larger inside diameter and is suitable to be installed on the top of said core 11 i.e. to be surrounded the circumferential side of said core 23. Its bottom is formed with several protrusions 40 along the direction of axis, in which1 at least one protrusion 41 must be installed with a circular hole 41 corresponding to said hole 25 at top portion.
Said plate 39 supports said grate 13 with the circumferential rim. While the cooking facilities are placed on said grate 13, the weights of said grate 13 and the cooking facilities are supported by said plate 39. Owing to said plate 39 being covered on said core 11, the weight on said plate 39 is transmitted to said rack 10 so as to get the stable supporting effect. Besides, said plate 39 can contain oils and water and is easy to disassemble and to be cleaned.
As a result, the improved structure for gas range according to the present invention is nct only good at both properties in heat-dispersing and ventilation, bt also able to prevent oils and water from dripping into the gas range and to make the operation in disassembling and cleaning very easy. It can further avoid the platfrom of gas range from cracking and deformation. It is no doubt in practicability and do meet the requirements in applying a patent.
Besides, it is evident that many modifications, substitutions and variations will be apparent to those skilled in the art. Accordingly, the invention is intended to embrace all such modifications, substitutions and variations as fall within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
