Abstract

A thermally-insulated container for holding milk cartons or bottles on a doorstep includes a compartment for holding a cold accumulator pack.

Description

DOORSTEP CARTON AND BOTTLE COOLER Technical field This invention relates to a receptacle for the cold storage of produce delivered to domestic households.
Background.
The custom of having produce such as milk delivered "to the door" is widespread. Although this is a convenient form of shopping it suffers from the danger of the goods going off or deteriorating during the day as the result of the increased temperature encountered on the door step.
Essential technical features A receptacle that will 1. Store containers similar to a milk bottle or carton shape.
2. Have a compartment for a pack containing a freezable material.
3. Be made from a insulating material to retain cola air.
A pack containing a freezable material to be frozen prior to insertion into the receptacle.

Claims (3)

Claims
1. To keep the inserted containers cooler than the surrounding environment for at least a 12 hour period.
2. To provide a receptacle that stores cartons or bottles without the risk of them falling over.
3. To provide an aesthetically pleasing container to be left outside the door of domestic households.
