Abstract
221,127. Taylor, L., and Taylor, J. Dec. 7, 1923. Pickers.-In raw hide pickers particularly of the kind described in Specification 7376/10, the legs c, Fig. 1, of the picker are held tightly together by driving through the usual hole e, while the picker is in a soft condition, a plug of hard raw hide having teeth or projections which become embedded in the picker when this is finally pressed to shape The plug may be of rectangular section, Figs. 3 and 4, having teeth f on its sides or edges; or it may be of circular section and made up of a number of truncated cones g, Fig. 5.
