Description

HONE LEAD ANGLING WEIGHT.
Technical : This invention relates to a none lead angling weight with standard angling Field swivel and the fixing of that weight and standard angling swivel together.
Background: Tp to 1986, most fishing weights,xen (O-Ioz) were manufactured of lead. The lead weights have now been banned due to the metal poisening birds, fish and the general ruination of the water and the waterside environment.
Essential :According to the present invention, there is provided a none lead angling Fesh@ie A weight, manufactured of: a) brass @ tures. b) stainless steel c) tung@ten, cojpper, nickel d) nickel e) nickel silver f) steel g) zine h) any other none lead based material.
in the shape of a) round b) square c)rectangular d) trian-lar e) hexagonal f) oval g) or any other shape.
with built in swivel. the weights are from 0-70grammes.
Exan@ls : A specific embodiment of the invention will be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which Fig. 1 shows the parts of the weight Fig. 2 shows the two parts swaged together.
Fig. 3 shows the rethod of maxufacture.

Claims (3)

  1. I) A none lead angling weight, comprising of a weight and a stsndard angling swivel, joined together.Fig.I and 2.
  2. 2) A none lead angling weight, comprising of a weight and standard angling swivel, joined together by means of swaging arid manufactured of a) brass b) stainless steel c) tungsten, copper, nickel d) nickel e) steel f) zinc g) any other none lead based material.
    in the shape of; a) round b) square c) rectangular d) triangular e) hexagonal f) oval g) or any other shape.
    and weight of 0-70 gramme.
  3. 3) A none lead angling weight, comprising of a weight and standard angling swivel, joined together by means of swaging. Method of manufacure. Fig.3.
    a) weIght is turned with taper and drilled hole larder than the swivel part of the standard angling swivel.
    b) weight is turned and standard angling swivel (swivel end) is located in drilled hole.
    c) weight is turned swaging tool swages the end over to secure standard angling swivel. The angling weight and swivel are now joined together as one.
