Abstract
A fastening element for fixing a toy 6 on an exhibiting fixture 6 has an elongate shape with a bottom flange 1 provided at opposite points with ridges 3, and a truncated body 2 extends upwardly from the flange. The body 2 is provided in its top with a pair of truncated cones 4 adapted to receive screws 8 for engaging in holes in the toy 9 to be exhibited. <IMAGE>
Description
'HASTENING ELEMENT FOR FASTENING REMOVABLE TOYS ON
EXHIBITING FIXTURES"
The present invention relates to a fastening element for fastening removable toys on exhibiting fixtures or devices, having the feature that it can be made by means of automatic apparatus and arranged,in an automatic way,within the exhibiting fixture,contrarily to known fastening elements which do not afford such a possibility.
Moreover,owing to the fastening element of the present invention,the toy,such as a model motor vehicle,motor-cycle and the like,can be supported also when it is arranged on a panel,as said toy is removed from the exhibiting fixture and arranged on a horizontal panel or surface,in a condition in which it is still coupled to its fastening element.
These results and advantages are achieved by a fastening element according to the present invention, characterized in that it has an elongated shape with a contour flange which,at opposite points, is provided with anti-bridging ridges and therefrom a frustum pyramid body extends at the top whereof there are provided at least a perforated lug pair adapted for receiving therethrough screw members to be engaged in holes of the article to be exhibited.
The invention will become more apparent from the accompanying drawings, where:
fig.l is a perspective view illustrating the fastening element according to the invention;
fig.2 illustrates the fastening element according to the invention as housed in its exhibiting fixture.
From fig.l it should be apparent that the fastening element is provided with a bottom flange (I) with a central truncated pyramid shaped portion (2) from the top face 2A of which two frustum of cone bodies extend,indicated at 4 and provided with holes 5 for receiving therethrough screw members 8 for fastening the toy 9;on the bottom flange,moreover,there are provided two diametrically opposite ridges (3tithe central portion (2) consists of a hollow prism,having elliptical bases and slightly slanted sides.
Fig.2 shows the fastening element arranged within an exhibiting fixture 6 thereto has been coupled, by means of screw members (8),the toy (9) consisting of a toy motor vehicle or the like which is arranged on a supporting member (7) located at the center of said exhibiting fixture.More specifically,said fastening element can be put in its proper position by introduc ing it from the bottom of the exhibiting fixture (6),into a suitable hollow of corresponding shape.
The main feature of the present invention is that the fastening element can be made in an automatic way,by means of molds and,owing to the provision of the ridges (3),several fastening elements arranged in succession on a conveyor belt of an automatic assembling system will be prevented from superimposing onto one another during their displacement toward the affixing region.
Claims (4)
1. A fastening element for fastening removable toys on an exhibiting fixture or device, in which the fastening element has an elongated shape with a bottom flange which, at opposite points, is provided with antibridging ridges and therefrom a truncated pyramid body extends at the top whereof there are provided at least a pair of perforated lugs adapted for receiving therethrough screw members for engaging in holes of the article to be exhibited.

A toy fastening element according to Claim 1, in which said truncated pyramid body consists of a prism having substantially elliptical bases and slightly slanted sides, with frustum of cone formations extending from its top face, and including even diameter holes for receiving said screw members for affixing said toy.
3. A toy fastening element substantially as described herein with reference to and as illustrated in Figure 1 of the accompanying drawings.
4. An exhibiting fixture substantially as described herein with reference to and as illustrated in Figure 2 of the accompanying drawings.
