Abstract
219,892. Wagner, J. F. Feb. 25, 1924. Rollers, land.-An implement for rolling and pulverizing land comprises a main or weight frame, a frame carrying two parallel rollers below the main frame, and engaging-members between the frames adapted to roch on one another in planes at right angles to the axis of the rollers to shift the bearing points and thus vary the effective pressure on the land in passing over obstructions. Convex surfaces 5 on brackets 4 depending from the main frame 1 rest on convex surfaces 6 on members 8 projecting laterally from side frames 7 that are connected together by shafts 9 carrying the corrugated rollers 10, 11. Lugs 13 project from the brackets 4 through curved slots 14 in the frames 7. As each roller moves upward over an obstruction, the bearing point between the surfaces 5. 6 moves towards it, and thus the weight on it is increased.
