Abstract

A heel protector is moulded to fit snugly over the whole of the rear part of the footwear and is open at the bottom part to allow the footwear heel to protrude. An instep strap may be provided. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Footwear protectors Footwear Protectors for Car Drivers and varied uses, where the heel of shoe comes into contact with the floor.
A plastic type material or any such material suitable is moulded, in the form of a cup to fit over the rear of the shoe. In the centre bottom of this cup there is a hole through which the heel will pass, completely covering the heel of the shoe and the area above the actual heel. The Protector is made to fit snugly over the whole area of the rear of the shoe.
As a safety precaution, a removable instep strap could be worn.
The Protector would eliminate marking and scuffing of shoes, resulting in longer life.
1. A Heel Protector moulded in the form of a cup covering the rear end of the shoe.
2. A Heel Protector as claimed in claim 1 a moulded cup with a hole at the base.
3. A Heel Protector as claimed in claim 1 and 2 wherein the heel pass through a hole, at base of protector.
4. A Heel Protector as claimed in 2 or 3 wherein the heel area be completely covered with protector on passing through at base.
5. A Heel Protector as described herein with reference to drawings.

Claims (5)

SPECIFICATION Footwear protectors Footwear Protectors for Car Drivers and varied uses, where the heel of shoe comes into contact with the floor. A plastic type material or any such material suitable is moulded, in the form of a cup to fit over the rear of the shoe. In the centre bottom of this cup there is a hole through which the heel will pass, completely covering the heel of the shoe and the area above the actual heel. The Protector is made to fit snugly over the whole area of the rear of the shoe. As a safety precaution, a removable instep strap could be worn. The Protector would eliminate marking and scuffing of shoes, resulting in longer life. CLAIMS
1. A Heel Protector moulded in the form of a cup covering the rear end of the shoe.
2. A Heel Protector as claimed in claim 1 a moulded cup with a hole at the base.
3. A Heel Protector as claimed in claim 1 and 2 wherein the heel pass through a hole, at base of protector.
4. A Heel Protector as claimed in 2 or 3 wherein the heel area be completely covered with protector on passing through at base.
5. A Heel Protector as described herein with reference to drawings.
