Abstract

A standby wiper unit mountable on a front or rear windscreen in a case of emergency comprises a casing enclosing a wiper motor, a wiper blade drivably connected to the motor, and a suction cup fixed to the casing for mounting the wiper unit on the windscreen. Power may be supplied to the motor via a lead connected to the battery by dog clips, or via a plug connected to a cigar lighter or trailer socket.

Description

SPECIFICATION Emergency "Wiper Mate" This product"Wiper Mate" isforuse as an emergency standby. It consists of a wiper motor and blade encased in a plastic box, atthe rear of the box is an on/offvacuum suckerwhich enables you to attach to front or rear windscreen in emergency. The methods of use being dog clips to battery, plug into cigar lighter, @ plug into trailer socket. This product will also be put into commercial use.
All parts will be made of plastic, except armature and wiper blade.
EXAMPLE.
The embodiment ofthe product will now be described by way of example: Figure 1, wiper arm and blade.
Figure 2, wiper arm bracket and holding down bolts.
Figure 3, plastic casing.
Figure 4/5, wiper motor and holding down bolts.
Figure 6, wiperarm and blade.
Figure 7, vacuum sucker.
Figure 8, vacuum on/off switch.

    SPECIFICATION Emergency "Wiper Mate" This product"Wiper Mate" isforuse as an emergency standby. It consists of a wiper motor and blade encased in a plastic box, atthe rear of the box is an on/offvacuum suckerwhich enables you to attach to front or rear windscreen in emergency.
