Abstract

218,109. Schuman, Ltd., H., and Schuman, J. July 11, 1923. Garment racks.-The base 1 fixed in the wardrobe has end plates 2, 3 carrying two tubes or rods 4 arranged parallel to each other and to the base. A sliding rod 5 projecting through a hole in the front plate 3 rests on and between the rods 4 and carries at the ends depending plates 6, 8 supporting a rod 7 below and parallel with the other rods. The rear plate 8 may be continued upwards into a slot 9 in the base to prevent the bottom tube 7 from swinging.
