Abstract

A building plate and a door frame made from such a building plate, where the building plate consists of two or more particle boards (1, 2) with a fibre board (3) arranged and glued in the space between the particle boards in order to obtain increased form stability and improved screw holding strength. In making the door frame an abutment list (6) of solid wood is arranged on one side (1) of the building plate, the building plate preferably having a veneer covering (4) of the same kind of wood, the edges of the door frame also being provided with the same veneer covering or an edge list (5).
