Abstract

214,508. Jones, J. H. July 3, 1923. Rollers, land and garden.-In an implement having two rollers arranged so that the effective pressure on the ground may be varied by tilting the frame so as to raise one of the rollers, each of the two rollers forms a large proportion of the total weight, and the handle, shafts, or the like is attached to the frame between the rollers and is arranged to assume a convenient position for use both when the plane of the axes of the two rollers is horizontal and when it is vertical. The frame consists of side members 3 provided with extensions 6 and bent approximately at right angles and then laterally so as to form an arch-shaped part 4 to which is attached a sinuous handle 5 provided with a transverse grip 9. The extensions 6 are slotted to receive the spindle 8 of the sectional roller 2.
