Abstract

214,477. Oltmans, J. May 24, 1923. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Latex, treating.-Latex, to which preservatives or anti-coagulants may have been added, is mixed with about 10 per cent of a hydrocarbon, such as turpentine, benzene, naphthalene, kerosene, tar oil, or mineral oil. The mixture is either coagulated in the ordinary manner, or it may be used .directly, or partly evaporated for transport and subsequently diluted for use. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 8487/15, 111,906, and 116,326.
