Abstract

The spacer consists of a disc of similar dimensions to the records being played, made of a strong light- weight material, and covered on the top and bottom surfaces with a soft cloth which will not damage records on impact. The spacer separates the individual records in a stack of records on an automatic record changer, so that when the next record descends to the turntable, no damage to either record will occur.

SPECIFICATION A Spacer for a 'Hi-Fi' Auto-Record-Changer The spacer will consist of a disc, of similar dimensions to the records being played, made of a strong light-weight material, and covered on the top and bottom surfaces, with a soft cloth which will not damage records on impact. The spacer will separate the individual records in a stack of records on an automatic record changer, so that when the next record descends to the turntable, no damage to either record will occur.
In this way a record changer can be made which will provide good quality ('Hi-Fi') sound reproduction.
1. A spacer, for use with a record player having an auto-change facility and intended to be placed between adjacent records in a stack of records to be played so as to afford protection to the surfaces of the records, comprising a disc the opposed surfaces of which are covered with a soft non-abrasive material.
2. A method of playing records using a record player having an auto-change facility in which the records to be played are interleaved with discs the opposed surfaces of which are covered with a soft non-abrasive material.

SPECIFICATION A Spacer for a 'Hi-Fi' Auto-Record-Changer The spacer will consist of a disc, of similar dimensions to the records being played, made of a strong light-weight material, and covered on the top and bottom surfaces, with a soft cloth which will not damage records on impact. The spacer will separate the individual records in a stack of records on an automatic record changer, so that when the next record descends to the turntable, no damage to either record will occur. In this way a record changer can be made which will provide good quality ('Hi-Fi') sound reproduction. CLAIMS
1. A spacer, for use with a record player having an auto-change facility and intended to be placed between adjacent records in a stack of records to be played so as to afford protection to the surfaces of the records, comprising a disc the opposed surfaces of which are covered with a soft non-abrasive material.
2. A method of playing records using a record player having an auto-change facility in which the records to be played are interleaved with discs the opposed surfaces of which are covered with a soft non-abrasive material.
