Electromagnetic switches.-In automatic control systems for switching generators in parallel to power circuits by means of an electromagnetic switch 57, the electromagnet 56 for closing the switch is subject to a balanced voltage relay 63 and to a synchronoscope relay 35 constructed with a dashpot linkage 44, 45 so as to allow quick operation when the approach to synchronism is rapid.
