Abstract

213,443. Miller, M. April 18, 1923. Meat, dressing; pressing fruit and vegetables. -A meat, fruit, or like press of the type comprising a container 10 and a screw - operated presser plate 15 is provided with a removable perforated stand 13, which spaces the meat from the unperforated bottom of the container. A rod 17, which engages the handles 11, 12, is threaded to receive the spindle 19, the rounded end of which engages a recess 16 in the plate 15. The food is wrapped in cheese cloth and placed on the stand 13, the juices collecting beneath the stand.
