Drawings to Specification, Ornamenting.-Buttons are made from fruits having a bone-like kernel with a wrinkled outer skin or layer of a different colour, the whole or a portion of the skin being left on the face of the button. This wrinkled skin may be in part ground down or smoothed off, and polished and dyed or lacquered. The skin removed may leave a pattern, and the button, after this pattern has been dyed in one colour, may be subsequently worked for the purpose of applying a dye of a different colour.
