Abstract

A door lock device comprises a rim lock 4 connected via an elongate link member 12 to a remote bolt member 10 having a first end face 23 for abutment with an adjacent door face 2 in use of the lock and a downwardly extending projection 14 spaced from said first end face 23 and engageable in a generally complementary recess 15 in the floor 16 in use of the lock with said door 3 in its closed position, and said rim lock 4 in a locked condition. The link member 12 and bolt member 10 are disposable in use so that the bolt member projection 14 is withdrawn from said recess 15 upon unlocking of said rim lock 4. <IMAGE>
