Abstract

210,135. Wager, E. July 4, 1923. Knobs a n d handles, attaching. -In door handle fittings the sleeve 8 of one handle abuts against a shoulder 9<a> on the spindle 4, which is flared out at 10 to secure the handle, and the other handle is adjustably secured by a nut 7 with tapered internal bore screwing on a similarly tapered split sleeve 1 on the handle. The sleeve portions 1, 8 have cup shaped portions 11, the knobs 13 being secured around the edges thereof. The sleeve portion 8 is of the same external configuration as the sleeve 1 and nut 7 combined. Specification 17215/95 is referred to.
