Pneumatic conveyers.-In a conveyer for cotton &c. foreign matter is trapped in a box 2 which communicates with the conveyer tube by an aperture 4 and is discharged through a door 6. The size of the aperture 4 is adjusted by a slide 7. The return of foreign matter to the conveyer is prevented by a lip 5.
