Abstract
An electric machine comprise a stator (1) with a superconducting winding (5) places in a cryostat (4) and a rotor (7) with a cooled winding (10) placed on its body. The stator carries as well a compensating winding (6). The cryostat (4) is mounted on the stator (1) so as to form a clearance for the passage of a gaseous cooling agent between the external surface of the cryostat (4) and the winding (6) of the stator with normal conductivity. A system of channels in the stator (1) and the rotor(7) for a circuit along which passes the gaseous cooling agent which can circulate in a closed cooling system a part of which being constituted by this circuit.
