Stapling, hand tools for.-In a stapling or label tacking machine of the type in which a cam on the driver operates a staple strip feed mechanism, this mechanism is carried on a slide bar 14 movable in a chamber normally closed by a driver 7, which, when removed, allows the bar 14 to slide out with the entire feed mechanism. The bar 14, which is operated by a cam 23 on the driver, is provided with two pins 15 mounted to slide in sockets in the body of the machine, and normally pressed forwards by springs. A feed fork 18 is pivoted to the bar 22 and is pressed downwards to engage a staple strip 12 by a spring 20, one end 21 of which projects between and beyond the ends of the fork 18, to enable the foremost staple of the strip to be held and driven.
