Optical-projection apparatus is so constructed as to be capable of use with apparatus of the type described in Specifications 178,825 and 184,162, such apparatus comprising a casing containing a band of images. As shown, the lamp house has a double wall on three sides, ventilating openings 2, a removable cover 6, a sleeve 5 secured to the cover, and a lamp 3, the socket of the lamp being secured to a hollow rod 4 which is adjustable in the sleeve 5 and is held by a set screw 7. A sheetmetal casing 8, open at the top, is provided in front of the lamp house to receive the casing 9 containing the band of images, a slot 14 being formed therein to accommodate the operating knob. The lens 10 of the casing 9 constitutes a condenser, and the objective comprises a lens 17 in a tube 16 fixed to the casing 8 and lenses 19, 20, with a diaphragm 21 between them, carried by a tube 18 slidable over the tube 16.
