The door stop comprises a rod which fits into a tube inset into the floor, the rod having a ring enabling it to be hooked on the door when not in use. <IMAGE>

Description

SPECIFICATION Anti Vandal Door Stop The device consists of four parts.
Figure 1 A collared bush made of plastic or metal.
Figure 2 A steel bolt that fits the bore of the bush freely.
Figure 3 A steel rod looped at one end and threaded at the other end to fit the thread in the top of the bolt.
Figure 4 A steel pin that is riveted across the diameter of the bore of the bush to act as a distance stop to the bolt.
Figure 5 Illustrates the device in use.
Claims
1. This doorstop was designed to aid persons who are aged or crippled with Arthritis.
2. It is simple to use, easy to fix and inexpensive costwise.
3. Once fitted it will give trouble free safety and long service.
4. Has greater resistance to forcing than the traditional chain stop.
