Abstract

Air spaces inside the insulation of the coils and between the conductors of an electric machine are filled by pumping an impregnating agent into the coil end insulation or into the channel insulation, and the impregnating agent is cured after the filling. The pumping is carried out through a hole made or left in the insulation by means of a tubular nozzle.
