Abstract

Brake disc 1 for vehicle disc brake device has friction surfaces at the opposite sides thereof and is formed at the friction surfaces with slots (17) or holes 7, 8, 9 preferably extending through the thickness of the disc 1. The slots or holes are located with unequal spacing in the circumferential direction of the disc so that squeaking noise can be effectively suppressed; by 'unequal spacing' is meant that a circumferential spacing between two circumferentially adjacent slots or holes is different from both circumferential spacings at opposite sides of the first spacing, and further that the second mentioned spacings are not equal with each other. <IMAGE>
