Abstract

In a circular loom, a guide reed 1 for the revolving shuttle 5 comprises bars 4 extending between upper and lower reed rings 2, 3, the warp threads 8 being passed through the bars between the shuttle and the respective ring, the reed bars 4 defining a channel-shaped runway for the shuttle 5 effective to centre the shuttle during its revolutions and thereby minimising damage caused to the warp threads by the revolving shuttle. <IMAGE>
