Abstract

In a driver's cab mounted on four spring support means located at the corners of the cab, each support means 3 comprises two co-axial pneumatic springs incorporating rolling bellows. One of the springs is a bearing spring 4 for supporting the cab and the other a stabilising spring 5 for stabilising the cab. The bearing springs 4 on the longitudinal sides of the cab are interconnected by pipes 8 containing a variable throttle 9 while the stabilising springs 5 are connected transversely of the cab by pipes 10, also containing a variable throttle 11. The degree of throttling may be adjustable in dependence upon road conditions and/or vehicle speed. <IMAGE>
