Abstract

A method of fabricating inflatable structures such as breakwaters in which waisted flexible strips 3 are arranged and joined along their edges to form a crease free flared element. Neighbouring elements are connected directly or indirectly by joining strips 5 to form an extended structure which is of smooth contour when inflated. <IMAGE>
