Abstract

A U-shaped or E-shaped magnet core (10), has two outer limbs (11, 12) which are inherently resilient and are provided with notches (14, 15,) for fixing them with a snap-fit to a carrier which closes the magnetic circuit. The carrier also retains a coil on the middle pole 13. The core is laminated and it may form part of an armature-actuated switch, the armature being guided by an aperture in the carrier. <IMAGE>
