Abstract

A header for a tubular heat exchanger comprises an assembly of substantially trough shaped elements (4, 4a) of which the lateral sides (5) are joined together. At least one tube passage (3) is formed in the bottom of each element. The heat exchanger comprises tubes (1, 1a) of elongate cross-section. Heat dissipators (2), which may be corrugated strips or fin plates, are provided between the tubes. <IMAGE>
