Abstract

In a packet comprising a porous bag holding a commodity, such as tea, and a tag (14) secured to the bag by a thread (13), an end of the thread (13) is secured to the bag at a location (15) on the inner surface of a wall (2) of the bag, and a portion of the thread between location (15) and the tag (14) is disposed within the bag. The thread can be withdrawn from the sealed bag by pulling on the tag. <IMAGE>
