Abstract

This invention provides a method for stencil-printing, which comprises applying printing pressure by means of the pressure of a fluid through an elastic film (5). As shown, the elastic film 5 underlies copy sheet 4, stencil 3, ink sheet 2 and backing plate 1. In another embodiment, the positions of film 5 and backing plate 1 may be interchanged. Pressure may be applied, as shown, by pump 7, or, alternatively, film 5 form the outer sheath of a sealed fluid-containing bag which is mechanically empressed to produce the pressure. <IMAGE>
