Abstract

New benzimidazole derivatives of the formula I <IMAGE> wherein R<1> stands for hydrogen or a group of the formula V <IMAGE> wherein X stands for oxygen or sulphur and R<2> represents C1-4 alkyl, phenyl or substituted phenyl Y<-> is an organic or inorganic acid anion, are disclosed. The compounds have use as agricultural fungicides.
