Abstract

An elevating trailer for use in, for example, agriculture has a body (9) which is hinged to a chassis by a double parallelogram linkage (23)-(27) which constrains the body to move vertically between a lowered and elevated position, preferably by means of a single hydraulic actuator (35) acting between the chassis and the elevating body. Separate guide elements for the elevation of the body are thereby avoided and maintenance and repair are simplified. <IMAGE>
