Abstract

An apparatus for varying the position of a working platform (1) relative to its supporting legs (2), and comprising at least two yokes (7,11) which are movable stepwise along the associated leg by the action of jacks (18/19, 24/25) which operate between the platform and the yokes; the yokes are provided with pins (8,12) which are arranged to enter openings (10,14) uniformly spaced along the associated leg. <IMAGE>
