Abstract

A teat cup assembly has a central shell member (32) of transparent plastic material and an upper shell member (30) of stainless steel telescopically engaged with the central shell member. A stop (36) is provided for limiting the extent of telescopic engagement between the upper and central shell members (30, 32). An inflation member or sleeve (14) is mounted inside the central and upper shells with a cap portion (21) of the sleeve (14) closing the free end of the upper shell. The lower end portion of the sleeve (14) is stretched over the lower end of the central shell. A cap member (34) of transparent plastic material is threaded onto the lower end of the central shell (32) to securely capture the folded over portion of the sleeve. <IMAGE>
