Abstract

A device minimises lifting off, from the windscreen 17 of an automobile, of the external windscreen wiper blades 22, 32 during forward running of the automobile; the device comprises either separate air guide members 43, 53 for each wiper or a single member in front of the windscreen to receive and accelerate air and direct this accelerated air to flow substantially parallel to the external surface of the windscreen. <IMAGE>
